Sure you can read about it but what really happens during pregnancy? Here are Things they Don’t Tell You About Pregnancy from a mom of 6.
Things they don’t tell you about pregnancy
Pregnancy is a beautiful time in a woman’s life because you are growing a little life inside of you. Although a pregnant woman may look glorious many times they don’t feel it. Who am I kidding, it’s tough! After 6 pregnancies I’ve realized one important thing and that is all pregnancies are different. I’ve also realized how each pregnancy has not only been harder but tougher on my body.
I know some of it is chocked up to having had other little ones and some of it can be chocked up to age.
However, when I read stuff online I realize there are many things they don’t tell you about pregnancy. So here’s a few Things they Don’t Tell You About Pregnancy.
Sneezes and laughs become a double edge sword..Always be prepared with extra underwear.
Food becomes your nemesis after the second trimester. Proceed with caution when eating acidic foods.
You realize how hateful a bra is when you hit the end of your 2nd trimester.
Always check in the mirror before going anywhere chances are there’s some sort of stain on the bottom half of your shirt.
Just because you feel great don’t over do it, you’ll be paying the price later.
Everyone will have an opinion on your name choice so be ready for unsolicited advice.
The Realities of pregnancy
People will have an opinion on your pregnancy size. If you’re too small you’ll hear about it. If you’re too large people will ask if you’re having twin.
Getting out of Bed will become harder and harder. So plan accordingly…or not.
Shaving becomes an Olympic sport or a game or a game of Marco polo. Seriously sometimes it’s almost worth going Au natural.
You really do second guess the importance of picking things up…quite honestly there are times I question it now post kids.lol
Everyone will want to feel your stomach. It’s something that doesn’t bother me as much because i’m on my 5th but it is amazing how a pregnant belly has a sort of magnet for people’s hands…even complete strangers.
In the end all those above things will stink, stink bad. However, when you see your precious little one in your arms it will all be worth it. So take it in stride, be prepared and enjoy the roller coaster that is pregnancy 😀
